Organization
The event is held by the Research Group in Landscape Studies, established 26 years ago, jointly with the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design of the Federal University of Alagoas, the only graduate program in the country that focuses on “Dynamics of the Inhabited Space.”


Production
First used as a tool, visual culture emerges as a product through its Taba-êtê Creation Laboratory. Taba-êtê is an indigenous word used to name villages and cities. The Laboratory is active in graphic and audiovisual design, and in generating artistic and cultural products. Through the Laboratory, the Research Group for Landscape Studies search for to transcend the limits of academia, transforming data and knowledge into aesthetic, communication and artistic expressions, establishing a rich dialogue between theory and praxis. By producing expositions, books, websites, and images, the Group not only publicizes research results, but also contributes to building more sensitive knowledge about the landscape, establishing an enriching dialogue between different areas of study.
